There aren't too many international volleyballers who've lined up for the Orange Tigers over the decades, nor have their been many who've graced the cover of Men's Health magazine and been a poster-boy for Aussie Bodies.

New Tigers recruit Casey Grice has done all of that, and based off that CV questions need to be asked as to if anyone has ever seen him and Tom Cruise - specifically as Maverick from the immortal 1986 flick Top Gun - in the same room.
At any rate, it's extremely likely Grice is the first player since the Tigers' inception who has made the switch to don yellow and black after gracing the sands of Turkey, South Africa, China and, bizarrely, Shepparton - which has apparently held international beach volleyball competitions.
I get a lot of rubbish about that ... I thought I'd got away from it.
- Casey Grice on ending up on the cover of Men's Health magazine in 2015
He played all across the world for nearly 10 years, and during his time with the Australian side was a perfectly-styled hair away from competing at the Olympics, despite Grice having grown up nearly 400km from the nearest beach.
He also had a red-hot crack at qualifying for the Beijing Olympics as a swimmer, despite his home town of Kalgoorlie-Boulder not being known for an abundance of water and instead making a name for itself for an abundance of big holes.
Kalgoorlie-Boulder didn't even have a beach volleyball court until Grice and a few friends built one nearly 10 years ago, but the it was in the gold capital of Australia, and in Adelaide after his relocation in 2015, was where he learned his love of the nation's native game.
And - like beach volleyball - he took to it like a duck to water, playing in division one of the South Australian Amateur Football League for Adelaide Uni in between volleyball commitments.
As for the modelling for Men's Health magazine - apparently, it was a once-off and Grice had "no idea" anyone had nominated him to be an ambassador.
"A mate stitched me up and put in an application a few years ago and I ended up bloody getting picked," he said, laughing.
"I got flown to Sydney and did this one little shoot which somehow ended up on the cover.
"I get a lot of rubbish about that ... I thought I'd got away from it."
The volleyball skills crossed over nicely, with spring-heeled Grice, who already stands at six-foot-four, having the ability to jump beyond the reach of most defenders, as well as pinch-hit in the ruck.
Grice played his first game for the Tigers' in the side's 129-point win over Parkes last Saturday, and despite feeling "rusty", loved the chance to be back on the field.
"I think I'll get better with games but I'm looking forward to the match this week and then afterwards leading into finals, hopefully I can play every game between now and the end of the year and get some form up," he said.
It was a lot of fun, there was a lot of space and I'm looking forward to playing with the lads for the rest of the season.

He said it was always nice to start with a win, but admitted "it could have been 200 if we kicked straight".
It was his first game since the end of the 2017 season, and after joining the side during the club's three-week break from playing was his first chance to get onto the park after moving to Orange just over three months ago.
"It felt good (to be back out there) after a couple of years off, they're good crew of guys," he said.
"I thought we played well, a little bit scrappy but we've got a lot to work on to see how good we can get before the end of the year.
"I had to stop footy for volleyball and played that professionally for about 10 years and this is a good change-up, it's good to be back out and having fun.
Grice is keen to be a regular part of the Tigers' fixture, and will line up again for the side in this weekend's game against Cowra.
"It was a lot of fun, there was a lot of space and I'm looking forward to playing with the lads for the rest of the season," he said.
The Tigers men and women host Cowra this weekend at Waratahs, with the women beginning at 12.30pm and the men at 2.30pm.
