The State Government funding will provide small grants to arts and community organisations in regional NSW.
Arts OutWest executive director Tracey Callinan said the funds are a valuable way to kick start projects.
"This funding program is about giving regional people access to a diverse range of arts activities that are made for and by the local community," she said.
Grants of up to $3000 are available and are primarily to cover professional artist's fees, travel and accommodation.
Projects could include workshops, artist-in-residence programs, public art and design projects, performances, seminars, forums and exhibitions.
There were six projects funded in the Central West region through in 2019, including creative poetry workshops with Marco Gliori at several Orange schools.
Groups must discuss their project with Arts OutWest before submitting an online application.

Applications for 2020 funding close July 29.
