NSW Minister for Mental Health, Regional Youth and Women, the Honorable Bronwyn Taylor was guest speaker.
Minister Taylor described her journey, which included transitioning from a nursing career in which 96 per cent of the workforce was women, to a political career where 96 per cent of her colleagues are men.
The Minister talked about the importance of early childhood education and encouraged the Forum to maintain a dialogue with her to further their proposals.
Following Ms Taylor's address, Cheryl Pope led a discussion on how to develop the Forum into an influential advocacy group capable of giving voices to the women of the Central West who want to make a difference.
The main message from the evening was 'don't delay - act now'.
