Only playing with 16 men and then forced to play the final 35 minutes with just two reserves following a knock to backrower Jack Siejka, Group 10 has produced a tough-as-nails performance to knock off Group 11 at Forbes on Saturday.
In the annual Western derby, both sides battled player unavailability in the lead-up to the clash but the visitors traveled to Forbes knowingly down two players and then only managed to bump up their quota to 16 by plucking a first grader from the crowd.
Still, a brace to Matt Ranse and tries to Casey Burgess and Jackson Brien inspired Graeme Osborne's side to a tremendous come-from-behind victory over a Group 11 side boasting the services of former NRL gun Travis Waddell.
Earlier, Group 10 won the league tag while Group 11 took honours in the under 18s.
