As someone who frequents one of the busiest car park close to Summer Street it's unbelievable what goes on.
Walking to your car after dark can be perilous as numerous people hang around in groups happy to hassle anyone who walks by as they rat through charity deposits or ashtrays looking for butts.
Looking for butts is not an activity that requires the cover of night.
Not long ago a young girl in school uniform accompanied her father as he ratted through bins looking for someone else's cast offs.
It's also not uncommon for me or any of my colleagues to be yelled at or sworn at.
Adequate lighting and frequent police patrols are the only reason why the car parks are full night and day.
At a time when we're looking at revitalising the CBD and attracting visitors from near and far it's a shame the undesirable behaviour of a few is tainting it for us all.
