Families are encouraged to take advantage of the second voucher to help children to try a new sport or go towards paying for another season.
The first Active Kids voucher will remain unchanged and both will be valid until the end of the year.
Helena Rollo has two children enrolled in participating sporting clubs in Orange and said the extra assistance is a huge help.
She said while enrolling William and Jessica Rollo in tenpin bowling and soccer can be expensive, it's not something she'd want them to miss out on.
"The opportunity for social awareness which comes from group sport - it's very healthy for them," she said.
Mrs Rollo said her family is lucky in that the vouchers are a bonus, rather than a necessity, but she hopes it helps others less fortunate to get out on the field.
"Orange is a very sport orientated society and I think it's great for the community," she said.
Since the Active Kids program commenced in 2018, more than 9800 Active Kids vouchers have been created by families in the Orange region.
The top five activities for Active Kids in Orange are soccer, netball, rugby league, rugby union and dance.
Parents can use the vouchers at a stack of clubs in Orange, including 2nd Orange Scout Group, 2nd Orange Rover Crew, 3rd Orange Scout Group, Zumba Kids and FITKids classes with Belinda Riley, PCYC Orange, Orange Tigers Australian Rules Football Club.
