But there's something the 20-year-old university student is yet to experience while playing league tag.
She'll tick that box on Saturday when she makes her senior representative debut with Group 10, running out for her first game of rep league tag at Spooner Oval, a ground she knows fairly well after a couple of years playing against the Magpies in Group 11 territory.
She'll also know a fair chunk of the Group 11 line-up, with Parkes gun India Draper and Ward twins Ash and Cass both in the red and black side Hay's Group 10 outfit is on a collision course with on Saturday.
Group 10 will take on Castlereagh League while Group 11 will tackle Woodbridge Cup in the two opening games of the western cluster but both Group sides are expected to advance to the final.
I'm sure India will be one to watch, we'll have to mark her.
- Group 10 representative Paige Hay on tackling her old Parkes teammate India Draper.
It's there Hay will likely take on her old Spacecats teammates and as for any tips she'll have for her Group 10 outfit?
"I can only say what I've seen and I'm sure India will be one to watch, we'll have to mark her ... but I'm sure she knows she'll be a target," Hay laughed.
"I haven't played Group before. I had no idea we were even trialing for it but I got the call form Mish (Somers) and I was very surprised seeing as I'm only new to the competition."
Hay will line-up in the centres for Group 10 with skipper Mish Somers on the same side, while Panthers ace Amy Hotham will play outside the St Pat's duo.
Hay knows better than most just how slick the Group 11 side will be but she believes the weekly, competitive nature of the Group 10 competition will ensure the blue and whites remain undefeated, claiming a seventh Western crown along the way.
She says tagging will be key.
"If we can just basically get up in the line together and get in front of the players, tagging from the side is harder so getting in front will be important."
The league tag games start at 10.15am on Saturday, with Group 10 scheduled to play Castleragh League at 11am. The league tag final is at 12.30pm.
