Fisher, an Orange City stalwart and Central West Junior Rugby Union life member, was in charge of this year's tournament, which for the first time was hosted solely by the Lions club.
In the past it's been co-hosted by the Lions and Orange Emus at the latter club's Endeavour Oval base but that agreement dissolved heading into this year's edition, the Orange clubs will now alternate.
The feedback since last weekend's tournament came to a close on Monday afternoon, with Gordon claiming the title, has been incredible too.
"For Orange it's huge, we had 17 teams coming here with additional family members, for the economy it's obviously huge," Fisher said.
"In terms of rugby it's massive, it's a big coup. It's the next step up for these boys playing and the skill level increases, they learn a lot and it's just a really great weekend.
"It was really exciting (to act as sole hosts) ... in conjunction with Orange City Council. A lot of comments [were] made by Sydney teams, they couldn't believe how much room there was at Pride Park and the ground are exceptional.
"Obviously there's a lot of volunteers and man power, and that says a lot about the depth in the club.
"We had netball players here helping and our Wallas, our junior committee and then the seniors as well, it was all hands on deck and it makes it a really successful weekend."
