Six worthy community projects in Orange, and one in Cowra, have been awarded Round One CSU Community-University Partnership (CUP) Grants. The goal of the CUP program is to support the development of our regions through contributions to cultural, economic, sporting and related activities and build higher education aspiration and awareness particularly among young people in rural and regional communities. It's all about creating a world worth living in.
Grants are available in six categories: arts and culture, education, Indigenous development, sport, health and wellbeing and environmental sustainability.
Small grants of up to $1,000 can be awarded, and organisations are welcome to apply for grants under multiple categories.
This year, CSU CUP grants worth total of $125,000 will be awarded to community groups, organisations and individuals across the University's regional footprint including Orange, Bathurst, Albury, Wagga Wagga, Dubbo and Port Macquarie.
