Team 1 Keegan had another comfortable win, this time over Team 5 Bigg, with wins for Jesse Keegan, Steve Elliot, Lawry Brayne, Steve Bigg, James Cole and Lyle Davis.
Brett Mahlo cut open Dave Neil's nose with a backswing before cutting open Neil's lack of a short game to win in four, while Jarrod Collett upset a wounded Mick 'Hollywood' Abberton in five games.
Team 2 Atkinson beat a struggling Team 4 Belmonte, with wins for Glenn Atkinson over George Eleftheriou, as well as Scott Baker, Kynan Baker, Rhonda Cavalli, John Hannan, Kym Knight and Brock Gannon.
In what is being called the biggest upset ever seen since Jerry Seinfeld outpaced Duncan Meyer in a street race, Thomas Belmonte somehow found his first ever victory by defeating his much more experienced opponent Steve Blackwood in a marathon five games, leaving Belmonte to tell anyone that would listen about his deed.
Team 3 Baker beat Team 6 Garton with wins for the third Baker Toby, Nathan Garton, Jarrod Collett, Albert Cavalli, Yvonne Tracey and Mac Thompson, while Jesse Keegan regretted taking his foot off the pedal against the painful Grant Mitchell, dropping the second set. But fatigue soon struck, leaving Grant helpless in the last two games.
