But pound-for-pound the young bull would be one of the strongest middle-men running around and Orange CYMS coach Dom Maley is thrilled to have the 19-year-old backrower back in 2019.
Harrison was in the Cronulla Sharks fold at the start of the season but has return to Orange for the rest of the season, and it's a timely move for the green and golds.
"He's got that good rugby league build; short and stocky. He played for us last weekend," Maley said.
"It's a shame the Sharks stuff hasn't worked out but he's still got another year of under 20s ahead of him. That's obviously the priority for him but we'll love to have him out there with us as well."
CYMS has lacked consistency this year and Maley is hoping a more settled line-up will help the fifth-placed green and golds surge up the Group 10 ladder.
The first year premier league mentor said Sunday's derby against rivals Orange Hawks is the perfect time to do so.
"Obviously a derby's a good weekend to do it, hoping a strong performance can kick start our back end to the season," he said.
I'm hoping the derby will bring the best out of the boys.
- CYMS coach Dom Maley.
Easier said than done though - Maley knows that.
Particularly following a demoralising 44-18 loss to competition leaders Mudgee last week, Dragons Jared Robinson and Corin Smith sharing in seven tries as the Red V tore CYMS' left-edge defence to shreds.
Maley said that side - Luke Petrie, Ethan Bereyne and Robbie Mortimer - will remain in tact for Sunday's game and he's backing the trio to stick solid in the face of Willie Heta's Hawks.
"They're all mates and they're keen to work together as a unit. I've got complete confidence in them to do the job," Maley said, adding the two blues pose a massive challenge for CYMS on Sunday.

"The pre-season talk was they'd lost a bit of size but results show they're more than capable. They've had a few years with Bobby (Wykamp) and Willie there and that consistent coaching is paying dividends.
"I'm hoping the derby will bring the best out of the boys to get that consistency back in our game."
Kick-off is at 2.30pm on Sunday.
The under 18s league tag game kicks off the day from 9.30am.
