Home cooks will bring their camp ovens to Forest Reefs Tavern for a camping cook-off to raise money for The Parkinson's Foundation.
A team of judges will be tasked with the difficult job of testing and deciding on a first and second place, while the public will decide on the People's Choice winner.
Cooks will need to produce enough for people to sample, bring all their own ingredients and do all the preparation at the tavern.
Tavern owners John Clements and Monica Donnelly will once again enter the competition, with venison stew on the menu.
Mr Clements said people didn't have to be a professional chef to come along and have a go with the camp oven.
"It's a whole different method of cooking, it tastes really great and it's a good day out," he said.
Non-camp cooks will also be catered to, with live music and children's activities, including a jumping castle and a woodchop competition.
The Cardinals softball team will provide the other great camp food, in the form of a sausage sizzle.
Camp cooks are invited to the Tavern from 10am to start their dishes, ready to serve by 3pm.
Last year, more than 400 people attended to eat the creations, purchasing a bowl for $5, which went towards the fundraiser.
Mr Clements said more chefs would be needed this year to cater for a growing crowd.
