About 4am on Thursday Central West Police District officers were patrolling Lone Pine Avenue when they saw a Ford Falcon utility, suspected to be stolen.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle, however the Ford accelerated away before the driver lost control and the vehicle collided with a power pole on Amber Street.
Two occupants of the suspected stolen vehicle fled the scene and were pursued by police on foot.

A 29-year-old man was caught and arrested. He was found to be carrying a knife, a bullet, a screwdriver and was wearing riggers gloves.
Inquiries confirmed the vehicle was stolen.
The man was charged with steal motor vehicle, resist police, possess ammunition, possess knife and possess house breaking implements.
He was refused bail by police and appeared at Orange Local Court on Thursday where his bail was refused to next appear before Orange Local Court on Monday, July 8.
Inquiries continue to identify and locate the second occupant of the stolen vehicle.
