The Celtic Tenors have spent much of the last two decades dazzling audiences with their unique Irish charm, and are currently touring the country in support of their fourteenth studio album, The Irish Songbook.
The group's current lineup consists of Daryl Simpson, James Nelson and Matthew Gilsenan.
Gilsenan hopes the trio's performance will provide a hearty atmosphere for audiences to embrace.
Because we have different styles of voices, the harmonies we come up with add a dense dynamic to the overall sound

"What we do is a bit like a tonic: there's a fun, uplifting presence to our performance that has the power to cure any feelings of dread," he said.
"The songs on our new album are full of heart, and invite audiences to leave all their problems at the door and return home with a spring in their steps."
With The Irish Songbook, the Celtic Tenors have arranged their own versions of classics such as 'Finnegan's Wake,' 'Song for Ireland,' 'Danny Boy' and 'You Raise Me Up.'
Gilsenan said the group's three-part harmonies play to the strengths of each member and require a diligent rehearsal process to master.
"James [Nelson] comes up with an arrangement and as a trio, we sit down to deconstruct the harmonies and determine an ideal way to perform them," he said.
"Because we have different styles of voices, the harmonies we come up with add a dense dynamic to the overall sound."
The Celtic Tenors are relatively new to Australian shores, with this tour being their second as the headline act.
Gilsenan hopes the Bathurst community will enjoy what the group has to offer.
"This is a worthwhile show and I guarantee the audience will feel fulfilled and full of life," he said.
"Our shows are never scripted, and we strive to make our performances as engaging and interactive as possible."
The Celtic Tenors will be performing at BMEC on Saturday, June 1 from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost $59 and are available online and from the BMEC box office.
