This year's theme will be Growth Through Adversity, with one business to receive an award for its efforts.
Other categories will remain the same, including accommodation, hospitality, tourism, innovation and disability sevices, through to best apprentice, best employer, best new business and the coveted Best Business in Cabonne.
Cabonne councillor and committee chair Libby Oldham said the awards had come a long way since the idea started in her loungeroom and husband Hugh made the trophies.
She said the awards allowed the community to come together.
"Your business survives because customers support you, but they won't support you if you don't give them what they need," she said.
Nominations close on June 30 and mayor Kevin Beatty said the public would then have the opportunity to vote on their favourite businesses before the awards night is held in Manildra on November 1.
"I can confidently say they'll put on a great night for us," he said.
Last year's event attracted a record 176 finalists, with the Canowindra Phoenix named Best Business at the event in Eugowra.
Nomination forms are available at various locations across Cabonne's villages and also through Central West Business HQ by calling 6362 0448 or emailing daroo@becbiz.com.au
