Parliamentary secretary to the deputy premier Steph Cooke made the announcement on Wednesday.
Mrs Cooke said corporate passengers in particular relied on their devices to continue working inside the terminal.
"The other part of [a good experience] is having that piece of mind that your car is going to be secure there for as long as you are away from it," she said.
The $2 million project will include an extra 56-space, undercover car park between the current car park and Aerodrome Road.

The parking area will include security fencing, a boom gate with keypad or card entry and CCTV cameras, designed to meet the need for travellers who are away for a number of days.
The roof will hold 200 solar panels to supply additional power to the airport, while the fenced area will let hire car companies broaden the range of rental cars available onsite.
The enclosed secure area will be paid parking, while the existing area will continue to be free.
Payment arrangements will be subject to tender, with possible options including paying inside the terminal and being given a pin code, or pressing button on entry to receive a ticket and paying by card before leaving with car.
All cars at the airport will covered by a new CCTV system.
Security concerns have plagued the airport in recent times, with 17 vehicles broken into last year.
Meanwhile, the drop-off zone will have a roof built over the top, high enough to receive buses and almost as large as the terminal itself.
It will also cover the first row of parking spaces.
Inside the terminal, workstations will be added for business travellers, as well as charging points, WiFi, improved lounges, better technology in the conference room and a large digital display screen.
