Cassie Drew said she had hoped the Game of Thrones character she'd named her daughter Khaleesi Smith after would finish the series on the iron throne.
"It was a bit disappointing. I was sort of hoping she'd rule the Seven Kingdoms," she said.
Ms Drew chose Khaleesi because she wanted her almost two-year-old daughter named after a strong woman.
"It's a beautiful name and it's a bit different to what you hear every day," she said.
She wasn't alone.
More than 3500 children have been named after Khaleesi since the show began.
Up until episode five in the long-running series, which fans in Australia watched last week, she was one of the most-beloved characters in Game of Thrones.
Khaleesi's decision to obliterate the people of Westeros will be unforgivable to most, but on the question of whether she can redeem herself - Ms Drew is unsure.
"I'll be watching on Monday night after the kids have gone to bed and I can have some quiet," she said.
And, is she sick of strangers asking about the origins of her daughter's name?
"It does get a little bit annoying when you hear it so much," she said.
