Rebecca Chatman celebrated Mother's Day morning with her 11-year-old daughter Madison.
Several hours later she had a new baby daughter to make her day even more memorable.
Ms Chatman gave birth to baby Charli at 7pm on Mother's Day in Orange hospital.
Charli arrived a day ahead of her scheduled due-date but for Mr Chatman and partner Aaron Thorne it was pretty pleasing.
"It makes me feel very special. I got to see my eldest daughter in the morning and meet my youngest [that night]," she said.
Ms Chatman said they had taken a couple of days to choose Charli's name as they hadn't picked out a girl's name before the birth.
"We had a boy's name [selected," she said.
Ms Chatman is from Parkes and said she would be spending a few days resting in hospital before heading home with her now larger family.
