A man who was disqualified from driving until December 2023, because he did not enroll in the interlock program for drink drivers, was convicted when he appeared in Orange Local Court.

Jacob Aaron Quick, 34, of Orchard Grove Road, was initially disqualified from driving for six months mid-range drink driving.
He was caught after police stopped him on March 2 after seeing a passenger with their arm and head out of his car.
Quick was fined $550 and he was disqualified from driving for six months.
In an unrelated matter, a truck driver who drove for 14 hours in a 24-hour period was also convicted in Orange Local Court.
Mark John Gibbs, 46, of Bligh Street, Oberon, was the driver of a rigid truck and was limited to driving for a maximum of 12 hours in any 24-hour period under fatigue management regulations.
The offence dating from November 28 and 29, was detected in an inspection of his log-book when he was stopped on the Mitchell Highway at Guyong on March 17.
He did not appear in court and was fined $440.
