She was airlifted to hospital after she was crushed by the car outside a Bathurst business.
Emergency services were called to Kurumben Place in West Bathurst at 6.06pm on Tuesday following reports that a woman had been struck by a vehicle.
Chifley Police District Chief Inspector Gerard Powell said police, ambulance and rescue crews arrived to discover the 31-year-old woman had been pinned against a brick wall by the car.
"Another gym patron arrived and parked his car and, for a reason still under investigation, the car has rolled down the driveway and struck the woman," he said.

"She was airlifted to Westmead Hospital with serious injuries to her right leg."
Fire and Rescue NSW Bathurst Station Officer Sandy Collins was among the crews who attended and said firefighters worked with Police Rescue to stabilise the brick wall so the woman and car could be removed.
"The wall was very unstable ... it was quite perilous," he said.
The NSW Police forensic services team were called to the scene to investigate.
The incident occurred outside a fitness facility.
