A 23 person team from Orange High School is busy rehearsing for the Cancer Council's Stars of Orange fundraiser on June 1.

Team organiser Kylie Winslade said Doves and Dimes dance teachers Emmanuel Rodriguez formerly of Justice Crew and Pania Taku from SYTYCD have been taking the team through its paces.
Although Mrs Winslade can't give too much away about the team's routine, Doves and Dimes is the only Hip Hop Dance Academy in the Central West.
Mrs Winslade said she wanted to enter the Cancer Council fundraiser to be involved with the community but she also wanted to do it for the students.

To date the school has raised more than $5200 for the charity event but there's still weeks of fundraising to go ahead of the event.
"We talk to kids everyday about stepping out of the comfort zone and be the best that they can be," she said.
She said when she put out the call for volunteers to participate she hoped for 10 participants but has ended up with 23 people are varying dance experience.
"Some of us have a great dance background and some of us have not," Mrs Winslade said.
"Not only have we got teaching staff, we have got some of the administration staff who are doing it, one of our cleaners, our general assistant is doing it."
She said there were also casual teachers and teachers who are coming back from maternity leave to participate.
