According to the Bureau of Meteorology's readings, the fullest rain gauges in the district were found near Orange Regional Airport, where 13 millimetres was recorded between midnight and 10am, with 11.2 of those millimetres coming after 9am.
But North Orange residents received the biggest one-hour saturation between 9am and 10am, when the BoM said nine millimetres fell.

According to the forecast at www.weatherzone.com.au, further rain could be on the way on Friday afternoon, with the forecast predicting a "chance of a thunderstorm" and winds of up to 25km/h.
Sadly, weatherzone's seven-day forecast predicted Friday's downfalls would be the last for several days, with no meaningful rain on the horizon until the 60 and 80 per cent chances of up to five millimetres on Wednesday and Thursday.
