The Nationals leader seems to be seriously out of touch with, and insulting to, young people.
Young adults are key to leading Australia into a viable and prosperous future - they have every right to vote and be heard.
Surely we want to value young people and build a community that provides them with employment, education and opportunities, so that they can join in creating a great future for our nation.
The record enrolment to vote of 88 per cent of eligible young adults is a good sign that the next generation care and want to make a difference.
