He flew over the handle bars and slammed face first into the next jump.
Judah, 14, a year 9 student at James Sheahan Catholic High School, was riding with two mates when the crash occurred.
An adult cyclist also riding the trail found them and called emergency services.
Judah's mum, Sonya Thornberry, said the response was amazing.
We really appreciate what they did. It was in the dark. They were all very, very good.

Ms Thornberry said ambulance paramedics, the fire brigade, State Emergency Service volunteers and police rushed to the scene.
"It was late Monday, about 4.30pm," she said.
"They had to stretcher him down from where he was.
"We really appreciate what they did. It was in the dark. They were all very, very good."
Judah was rushed to the Orange hospital where Ms Thornberry again praised staff in the emergency and intensive care units and in the paediatrics area of the children's ward.
"Emergency were just brilliant and ICU were good too, and (the ward)," she said.
Late Wednesday morning, the battered and bruised teen baring the scars of his crash landing, was given the all clear to go home to Manildra.
Ms Thornberry said Judah could not remember anything about the crash which he said was on a trail he had ridden before.
She said his most serious injuries are to his face and teeth, he has badly-bruised lungs and ligament damage.
"They thought he'd torn his liver, but no," she said.
Ms Thornberry also thanked the cyclist who called for help, but they did not know who he was.
