The Yowies overcame a five-point deficit at three-quarter time to walk out winners 71-69, which Eagles coach Jamahl Zegzula said "was a bit disappointing" considering the Eagles led for large parts of the match.
"It could have gone either way," he said.
"We had the lead heading into the final quarter, a couple of calls could have gone either way but when they went to the line they went against us ... but we had lapses defensively, we had a good lead and took it for granted."
It was good to have him back this week, the boys appreciated him helping in defence and on the scoreboard, he was a big difference for us.

The game see-sawed the whole way through, with sides raining goals point-for-point and each club gaining the ascendancy in different parts of the match.
"We clawed our way back from five points down to be 10 points up and let it slip again," Zegzula said.
The Eagles' defence slipped, with a few free fouls and leaving the Yowies open to scoring hurting the club in the final quarter, with the Yowies' Aaron Gorman and Aaron Crowe doing the bulk of the damage, with 17 and 16 points total for the match.
The Eagles welcome back Zak Simons to the side, with the big teenagers sinking 19 points, only shadowed by Kobe Mansell's 21, and the coach said Simons was a massive boon for the side.
"It was good to have him back this week, the boys appreciated him helping in defence and on the scoreboard, he was a big difference for us," Zegzula said.
Clarry Annis-Brown also stood up for the club, Zegzula praising the youngster for standing up in the absence of Andrew Manios, who was unavailable for family reasons for the clash.
Missing Manios meant the club had to wait another week to put their "best team on the court", according to Zegula.
While he was disappointed to let the win slip, and the loss hurt for both him and the players, he said the side was still in good shape considering they'd had only a few weeks of preseason training.
One of the club's development players was also handed a run for a few minutes, with Jordan Baker "adding a bit more excitement to the side" during his brief run.
The Eagles will have more chances to win on home, with their next three games all at Sir Neville Howse Stadium. They play fifth-placed Bankstown Bruins at 6.30pm on Saturday.
