Cars that are almost as old as some of the buildings in places like Millthorpe and Carcoar will be touring the district as part of a special bi-annual tour.
The Autumn Tour is organised every two years by the Orange District Antique Motor Club, with 130 vintage and veteran cars coming from across the country to take to the roads on Friday and Saturday.
With the rally specifically for cars manufactured before 1931, director Peter Amos said it would be a great opportunity to catch some rare classics of the road.
"We have entries from all over NSW, some from ACT and Victoria, and one from South Australia," he said.
Of the 130 cars ten are classed as veteran (pre 1919) and the rest are classed as vintage.
Enthusiasts can catch a sneak peak of all the vehicles at the Emus Rugby Club on Friday between 11.30am and 1.30pm.
The cars will also be in Millthorpe on Friday afternoon.
On Saturday morning they will be at the Robin Hood Hotel from 8am to 9.30am before departing along the northern distributor for morning tea at Newbridge and heading to Hobby's Yards, Barry, Neville, Mandurama before lunch at Lyndhurst Hall.
In the afternoon the drivers will have some free time to explore Carcoar before returning to Orange for a presentation dinner.
