Party federal president Reverend Fred Nile was in Orange on Monday along with wife Silvana Nile and media officer Annie Wright, who will be number one and two on the CDP Senate ticket, as part of a regional NSW tour.
The party has Shuyi Chen as a candidate in the lower house seat of Calare but they said Mr Chen was a late addition and would not be 'active' in the campaign.
"We had two people that could have stood in this area but due to their commitments they weren't able to run. A lot of people were burnt out and tired from the state election," she said.
She's going to be a firestorm when she gets there.

"So we had to find someone who could stand."
Mr Nile said having a lower house candidate helped direct people to vote for the CDP in the Senate.
"It will improve Silvana's basic Senate vote and it may be a great miracle that she gets elected. She practices all her speeches on me that she's going to make in the Senate. She's going to be a firestorm when she gets there," he said.
Mrs Nile said they would lobby the government to act against domestic violence.
"My number one issue is zero tolerance for domestic violence because it is running as an epidemic in this country," she said.

"When you've got one in four women that are either assaulted or murdered every week these are statistics that are alarming.
"It is of pivotal importance that we look at the issues that are underlying this, anger management, drugs of course is on the rise, and we need to address these issues to see what we can put in place that are able to be a preventative measure."
She said they were also pro-dams and wanted to see better water management.
"We want to see a 100 per cent tax free threshold for the farmers until we get through this drought. We need the government to start bringing in more money for them," she said.
The regional tour is also to launch a documentary on Mr Nile's life, Love Him or Loathe Him Fred Nile in which key politicans and media figures give their views of Mr Nile.
