Fire crews received a call-out to a fire along Bulgas Road near the state forest, but once they arrived at the scene RFS volunteers realised there were four separate blazes in the forest itself.

State Forest crews were also called, with a bulldozer brought in to contain the four blazes which eventually covered about two hectares of the forest.
RFS duty officer Lachlan Allan said about 40 firefighters were on scene, and were able to contain the fire by about 6pm.
He urged anyone to contact Orange police on 6363 6399 if they had more information.
Mr Allan also said smoke from backburning out towards Lewis Ponds was in the air, with people urged to call tripe zero if they see unattended fires.
