Courts were all full for the first of our coaching clinics last week which was held over three days from Monday to Wednesday.

The beautiful autumn weather couldn't be more perfect and there was a record high of 80 kids who participated, which is absolutely fantastic. Numbers are definitely increasing for these Clinics and the kids were all pumped.
There was a comment from one Mum in particular who said that this was the first time her daughter has attended and she is now hooked.
Coaches Darren and Alison do a fantastic job in running these clinics every school holidays and on the last day they held a mini tournament and award prizes to the winners.
There was an Easter raffle as well and the lucky winner was Rangi Smith, who is a member of the Turn Up Tuesday Junior Competition too.
The forecast looks good for the second clinic which will be held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week.
There are morning sessions from 9am - 12 noon at $30 per day and all day sessions from 9am to 3pm at $60 per day. A special price of $150 is for the entire three full days.

The Orange Junior Development Series (JDS) Tournament is coming up soon, on Sunday, April 28.
On line entries are now open so it is best to enter as soon as possible as entries close on Wednesday, April 24.
Players need to be a member of a Club so we can affiliate you with Tennis NSW.
At the Autumn Comp on Wednesday night, players raved about the pleasant and calm night.
The ladies winner was Heather Grant who finished with two sets and 19 games. Right on her heels in second spot was Chrissie Kjoller on two sets and 18 games and in third spot was Joanne
Daffern with two sets and 16 games. So very close amongst the ladies. Men's winners were, Brett Campbell with two/22, Andy Cannon one/15 and very close behind was Max Powell on one/14.
It will be the last night of this Comp next Wednesday at 6.30pm, with the announcement of winners at the conclusion of play.
Nibbles will also be served during the evening. On Wednesday the first of May, will be the return of the popular Winter Warmers Competition at 6.30pm. All players are invited to come along.
At Mixed Social last week, the lucky winner of the free hit voucher was a happy Mary Baxter and the committee member who will put on the sets from 1.30pm this Sunday is Col Parsons.
Just a reminder to the Thursday Social Ladies that there will be no tennis next Thursday, April 25, being Anzac Day and also the following Thursday, May 2, because of the Catholic Diocese Tournament who are utilizing all 10 Courts.
