A man who was stopped by police for speeding on the Mitchell Highway at Guyong at 12.38am on January 27 was then caught mid-range drink-driving.

Gregory Lionel McFarland, 56, of Mariposa Street, returned a reading of 0.12 on analysis.
He was stopped after police detected him driving between 126km/h and 119km/h in a 100km/h zone.
He was convicted, fined $750, his driver's licence was disqualified for three months and he was placed on a 12-month interlock order.
Solicitor Mick Madden said McFarland drove after the designated driver became ill.
Drinks with friends lead to driving conviction
A man who had been drinking beer at a friend's house has faced Orange Local Court after he was caught low-range drink driving on March 10.
Benjamin David Allan Codey, 28, of Bowyer Place, was stopped by police in Discovery Drive at 1am.
Codey failed a breath test and was taken to Orange Police Station for breath analysis where he returned a low-range reading of 0.078.
He was convicted and his licence was disqualified for three months.
Tail light drew police attention to driver
A man with a cancelled driver's licence attracted police attention when he quickly drove out of a petrol station driveway, causing the suspension to bounce.
Police said Jason Trudgett, 42, of Maramba Road, then turned hastily onto Allenby Road and the officers noticed one of the taillights wasn't illuminated.
Police stopped him and discovered his licence was cancelled. He was convicted and his licence was disqualified for three months.
