Hosted by Nashdale Public School P and C, the public is invited to attend the 'From Sandpit to Adulthood' seminar.

President Cassie Garlick said they're thrilled to host Maggie and have her share her wealth of knowledge with the community.

"It is a rare and fantastic opportunity to hear from one of Australia's premier parenting experts in a regional town like Orange and to hopefully pick up a thing or two from the parenting guru herself," she said.

Mrs Dent's experience includes teaching, counselling, and working in palliative care, funeral services and suicide prevention.

Ms Garlick encouraged people to buy tickets as soon as possible, as she said the event will sell out.

The two-hour seminar will take place at Orange Public School from 7pm.
