Pat Clarkstone saved his best for last winning his first match of the season while Lyle Davis won in five, although his victory wasn't enough to save the night.
Following his side's grand final win, Atkinson urged anyone interested to join the club for its next competitions, which start at One Strength's Moulder Street complex on Wednesday and Thursday, May 1 and 2.
"There was two competitions, Wednesday night which [had] 48 players and the Thursday night competition with 24," he explained.
"Obviously it was the grand final [on Wednesday], we'll have a week off next week with Anzac Day and then the competitions will start again the following week.
"But next Wednesday night we're having a grading night, if you haven't played but were interested in playing, 6pm we're going to have a bit of a hit so we can work out where people fit in."
