However, Barnies skipper Brendon Manning said it wasn't easy, with Cowra proving one of the most difficult challenges his side has faced.
"We've never been pushed as hard as they pushed up," he said, adding he was a massive fan of their addition to the ODFA competition.
Steve Kerr only found the net in the 85th minute as Barnies, despite having control in the first half, dropped off in the second as players dropped like flies with injury.
However, Manning said he was rapped with the performance.
"We're pretty happy keeping a clean sheet and winning our first two games," he said.
Ex-Services' and Waratahs United had a 1-1 draw, while Barnstonworth Saints drew nil-all with Waratah FC, while the competition's game between Barnstoneworth United and Millthorpe Tigers was deferred.
The competition has a week off for the Easter break before resuming on April 27, when Saints take on Ex-Services', Waratah FC play Barnstoneworth United and Millthorpe Tigers player Barnstoneworth FC. Cowra plays Waratah United.
