Orange engineering, construction and mining services company Forefront Services and its general manager Anthony Redfern have received four nominations for the 2019 Western NSW regional business awards.

The company is the only Orange representative in the awards which will be announced on Friday, May 10 in Mudgee.
Mr Redfern said the nominations come on top of winning several awards including business of the year at the 2018 Orange business awards.

"I think for me that's just the team we've built," he said.
They employ about 85 people in Orange and have expanded to Sydney (85 staff) and Parkes (20).
Mr Redfern said major projects they had worked on in Sydney included the M4 and M5 motorway upgrades.
Closer to home they built a new roundabout on Woodward Street, upgraded piping underneath Robertson Park and demolished the former McWilliams shed.
"We're heavily involved across a lot of areas," he said.
The firm is nominated in the Outstanding Business Leader, Excellence in Business, Excellence in Innovation and Outstanding Employer of Choice categories.
He said Michael Clout started the firm in 2011 and he came on board in 2013.
Mr Redfern said winning awards did help their business.
"It definitely comes into the tender process. It's good for our website. It does carry a bit of weight," he said.
