The 2-1 victory at Lithgow's Majorie Jackson Field sent the Mariners' women's side into fifth position on the table with two wins and a draw from their three games.
They're on equal points with third-placed APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC and Nepean FC, but their goal difference of zero is far behind the 16 of the Tigers.
They have a chance to improve on that against the leaky defence of Southern Branch FC this weekend, with the third-last team having the worst goal differential in the competition - a staggering -33.
Meanwhile, the men's side is on the bottom of the NPL3 table after a 5-2 loss to Parramatta FC on Saturday in Sydney.
Matt Hobby and Kenny McCall found the back of the net for the Mariners but it wasn't enough to overcome Parramatta.
