Brothers 4 Recovery founder and director Steve Morris said they would be holding a 24-hour bike ride at Orange Central Fitness this month.
"We're a bit short of the riders at the moment," he said.
Mr Morris said they were hoping to attract sporting teams or businesses keen to help out by taking one of the 30-minute slots in the relay-style ride.

Each slot will cost at least $20 with the funds going to the target of $5000.
He said the not-for-profit drug, alcohol and mental health charity provided camps, workshops and tours for young people.
Mr Morris said while the ride would happen in Orange, anyone wishing to donate could do so through the charity's Facebook page where links are provided.
He said the ride would start at noon on Friday April 26 and finish on Saturday April 27.
"On the day we will be going live with online giveaways and raffles for people who donate," he said.
Mr Morris said he started the charity on the Central Coast and after moving to Orange last year was continuing the work from the Colour City.
