The 11 nurses are trained in a large range of clinical areas, and will be taking skills and mindsets learned in Australia back to their day-to-day working lives and to train their colleagues at Renji hospital in Shanghai and to Jiatong University of Medicine.
A day after visiting Dubbo, nurse Wu Min Jie said the people in Orange had been "very kind".
... people here pay more focus on aged care and they care about what they are thinking.
- Nurse Shi Jie
Her fellow nurse Shi Jie said the group had loved their time in Orange.
"Orange is a nice place to live," he said.
"We are learning the difference between China and Australia, and the people here focus on the mental health and the culture are different from China.
"Aged care is like home, people here pay more focus on aged care and they care about what they are thinking and what they want and they can go for walks in the garden.
"The environment here is something different from China and maybe we can take it back."
While in the region the group will also tour and learn from Orange Aboriginal Medical Service and Orange Health Service, while also visiting Bathurst and Dubbo.
