Cadia General Manager, Peter Sharpe said visitors will be able to see the ore handling process in its entirety and visit the Ridgeway Underground Mine for the first time.
"Never before have we been able to provide the community with this real-life experience," he said.
The de-watering plant in Blayney will also be open to the public for the first time, with buses leaving the Blayney Community Centre every half hour between 10:30-12:30pm.
This tour is separate to the mine tour and will take approximately 45 mins.
There are only limited tickets remaining - they are available for a gold coin donation online at www.cadiaopenday.com.au or in person at the Orange Visitor Information Centre.
All funds raised from the event will be matched dollar for dollar by Newcrest and will be donated to CanAssist Blayney.
Organiser would like to remind visitors that access is only possible via the buses from Blayney.
There are no buses leaving from Orange and no private vehicles are permitted onto the site.
