The Central West Water Alliance's Cyril Smith asked for councillors to implement hose use for the entire two-hour watering period, not just half an hour as proposed plus an extension to stormwater harvesting.
Councillors voted to allow the hoses for half an hour, plus for car washing.
They also approved $10,000 for an awning for the Max Hazelton Aero Centre, which the ambulance helicopter operates from, to keep patients under cover.
Trees featured again, with a motion to estimate the cost of removing and replacing all dead trees, enhance roundabout plantings, install new entrance signs and ask Essential Energy to prune any trees evenly.
Councillors approved a subdivision for the Goldfields Tavern, separating the pub from the accommodation.
Councillor Stephen Nugent asked what the parking standard was for streets with no signage - the answer was parallel - councillors were told rangers would not generally fine people for parking at 45 degrees on a wide street, but they could.
Councillor Tony Mileto asked for bubblers at Sir Jack Brabham Park, but was told there might be hygiene issues.
A $5000 donation for Orange Show Society was refused because the society already received a $900 grant for toilet hire and it was above the $3000 threshold.
More to come.
