They have reached out to sporting clubs and community groups who could make use of the site - slated for a block of land adjacent to the Northern Distributor Road - for feedback on what they would like to see included in the final product.
The would-be stakeholders have been sent masterplans of designs for the precinct, as well as a questionnaire seeking their thoughts and ideas.
The designs feature a central stadium and car park surrounded by a series of smaller, multipurpose fields.
Among the questions asked are: 'what changes or additions would you like have made to the plan?', and 'what does your organisation require to ensure the precinct would meet your needs now and into the future?'.
Completed survey forms are requested to be returned to the council's sport and recreation coordinator, Ben Keegan at bkeegan@orange.nsw.gov.au by Friday.
