Solicitors Dannielle Ford, Alice Byrnes and Kirsty Evans have taken ownership of Cheney Suthers Lawyers.

The trio will offer a broad spectrum of legal services, including employment, family, criminal, commercial and property law, wills and farm succession planning.

Outgoing principals Tony Cheney and Aaron Suthers will act as consultants to the new partners, with the firm's name to remain unchanged.

Ms Byrnes, who returned to Orange in 2015 after working in a commercial litigation team at Sydney law firm, said she and her partners were "excited but daunted".

"When the opportunity arose, the three of us jumped on it," she said.

Ms Ford's career began a decade ago as a legal secretary with the firm and said she was looking forward to teaming up to "offer an even bigger suite of legal services".

"We have a complimentary set of skills and experience in different practice areas," she said.

Ms Evans said the partners hoped to serve clients who may have previously turned to city-based law firms.

"It is going to be an exciting 2019 - between the three of us we have five children under three," she said.

THE level of business at Best and Less has prompted the chain to open a temporary pop-up at the former Orange Hobby Kingdom premises in Summer Street. 

The pop-up opened on Thursday and will remain in place until at least May 5 - manager Kylie Hall said clothing items started at $1 and was mostly winter stock.

"We're getting fresh stock in daily," she said. 

HE found work with Forefront Services after the closure of Electrolux ended a 40-year career and now Reg Campbell has chosen to retire.

He celebrated his last day on Thursday and general manager Anthony Redfern wished him well.

"Forefront leads through its people and Reg's extensive experience and skill set, along with his positive attitude and eagerness to educate the younger members in the Orange workshop, will see him missed," he said. 

Mr Campbell hopes to travel Australia and spend more time with his three grandchildren.
