AS far as beef burgers go this one is big. So big, its creator, Fiona Miller, is challenging you to finish it under 40 minutes, and if you can lunch is on her.

The owner of Pantanos Bar and Grill, Ms Miller introduced Bathurst's Biggest Burger Challenge this month, and so far, just a handful of people have pulled off the challenge.
Ms Miller said the big burger has a 500-gram beef pattie, and is so big, she had get Bathurst Bakery to hand make buns for it.
In addition to the half-kilogram pattie, it's got two rashers of bacon, two pickles, tomato, cheese, onion, lettuce, beetroot, BBQ sauce and tomato relish.
When it came out I thought there's no way I'm going to do it, but I kept pushing on, and finished with about five minutes to spare.

It also comes with a schooner of Ale house beer and chips.
Ms Miller said she set the 40-minute challenge for a bit of fun, and to bring something fresh to the menu.
"I just though I'd do something different, I like new ideas and new concepts and keeping the menu fresh," she said.
"And I've always been a fan of big things, we've had the King of the Mount meal, four beef ribs on top of chips and salad, and another favourite is the super skewer which is really cool. I had to get a special stand made for it, it's got two 250 gram eye fillet steaks, two lamb sausages and 100 grams smoked pork belly, with onion, tomato, capsicum, chips and red wine jus."
As popular as the super skewer is, Ms Miller said she's expecting the burger challenge to rival it.
She's so confident that people won't get through it, she's set a 40 minute limit on the challenge, and anyone who can pull it off, eats for free.
Curt Seaman is one of the few who have managed to complete the challenge.
"It's pretty tough," Ms Miller laughed.
Curt, who tried his luck with the challenge last week, said he couldn't believe the size of the burger when it came to the table.
"Fiona was telling me she has the buns specially made in a cake tin, but I didn't think it would be as big as it was.
"When it came out I thought there's no way I'm going to do it, but I kept pushing on, and finished with about five minutes to spare.
"But I only just got over the line, there's no way I could have eaten any more."
Ms Miller said it was really great to see people really enjoying the challenge.
"It's fun to watch them," she said.
