There were two locations in the Central West that received no rain at all during the weekend, while others, especially Orange, received a good downfall.
Orange was the wettest place in the region with 29 millimetres of rain recorded by the Bureau of Meteorology's rain gauge at Orange Regional Airport.
Young also had a good downfall with 27.4 millimetres recorded across the two days, while Oberon received 26.6 millimetres.
There was also significant weekend rainfall in Bathurst (17.8 millimetres), Dubbo (13.8 millimetres), Lithgow (12.8 millimetres), Mudgee (11.6 millimetres) and Cowra (10 millimetres).
Other locations received less than 10 millimetres, while Forbes and Nyngan had no weekend rain.
And if predictions are correct, Orange will see another 30-35 millimetres of rain before the end of the week, with Friday tipped to be especially damp, with up to 20 millimetres forecast.
