Councillor Kevin Duffy used the recent meeting to comment on progress.
"I have been whingeing and whining about the suckers on the trees all around Orange and I can tell you, I have taken photos of before and after and they've done a fantastic job," he said.

"It changed the face of Glenroi overnight in some areas."
Councillor Glenn Taylor had previously criticised crews for responding too slowly to dead trees across Orange and cutting back storm-damaged trees too harshly, and they are likely to receive a budget boost next financial year.
