The NSW Electoral Commission says this year it is as straightforward as putting one number in a box on each of the two ballot papers.
The polling booths are open from 8am-6pm.
YELLOW FORM (Lower House)
- There are nine candidates standing in Orange
- You just need to put the number one (1) in one of the boxes
- You can fill out the other boxes with the numbers from 2-9 but it is not compulsory
- No ticks or crosses, the boxes must be numbered.
BLUE FORM (Upper House)
- You can either number above or below the blue line, but not both
- If you number above the line you can just place the number one (1) in one of the boxes
- You can continue to number the other boxes with the number two (2) and beyond for as many as you want to fill
- If you number below the line you must fill out 15 boxes by writing the numbers 1-15
- You can add more numbers from 16 onwards.
