The Thunder comfortably won all their of their round one games against Dubbo, Bathurst and Orange Lightning, with all three sides level on one win and two losses in their three games.
Despite sitting two games clear, Thunder coach Linda Macleod said while the side might mix a few things up, they won't be resting on their laurels having accounted for each other side in the top grade already.
Because of our place on the ladder we can play around a bit with how we structure our side.

"I wouldn't say any of our games were easy," she said.
"I don't think the other sides showed us their full strength so I think we'll do the same and won't show our cards too much."
She said shooting accuracy was a major part of what made her side tick over the wins in round one, as well as the squad's strength.
"I was impressed with our depth across the court, we played around a bit with combinations and having depth always helps with that," Macleod said.
While the desire to win will be no less, the Thunder coach said there was a little bit of wiggle room to change things up for the second week, having all but assured themselves a spot in the finals on March 31.
"Because of our place on the ladder we can play around a bit with how we structure our side," Macleod said.
She suggested she might play Milly Wilcox, who played goal shooter in round one and was last year's Orange Netball Association Toyota Cup grand final MVP, further up the court to unleash her against the other sides, while the combination in centre court could also be given a shake-up.
Tegan Dray spent the most minutes as centre over the weekend, but Macleod suggested she might trial other players in that position to "mix it up".
She said the "short, sharp" competition was a fun hit-out for her side, and they would use it as preparation for the season ahead.
"We're looking forward to it," she said.
Meanwhile, Bathurst and Blayney sit atop the division two ladder, while the Orange under-15 side is dominating division three, having racked up three massive wins in their opening three games in round one.
Mudgee is the team to beat in division four.
Games begin at Sir Neville Howse Stadium from 8.30am on Sunday.
