The Certificate IV Community Services class organised the day's activities which included dance, trivia and traditional foods from various cultures. 

Members of the Galumaay dance group in Orange joined with dancers from the River Spirit dance group in Forbes and Michael Newman said a Welcome to Country.

Held during Harmony Week, the national event celebrates the country's cultural diversity and coincides with the United Nations' International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

This year marks twenty years of Harmony celebrations in Australia.

Since 1999, more than 77,000 Harmony events have been hosted across Australia in childcare centres, schools, community groups, churches, businesses and federal, state and local government agencies.
