Event organiser Rochelle Monaghan said backing for The Orchard is strong.
"We are proud to be delivering this much needed centre to Orange," she said.
"Housing Plus appreciates the generous support of individuals and businesses within the community who have kindly donated items for the fundraising activities on the night."
Held at the Orange Ex-Services' Club on May 25, the White Tie Ball fundraiser target has been set at $50,000, a $10,000 increase on last year's total.
This year, the money raised will go towards a complete fit out of one of the six units which will provide temporary accommodation for women and children escaping domestic violence.
The event will include a three course meal, live charity auction, raffles and live music from Trouble With Johnny, a four piece band made up of Cecilia and Rocky Rochelli, Micky Young and Will ferguson.
Tickets for the fundraiser will go on sale from Monday and can be purchased from the Housing Plus office on Byng Street or by phoning 1800 603 300.
Central West Daily Editor Tracey Prisk said the CWD is proud to be partnering with Housing Plus to host the White Tie Ball.
A statement from Housing Plus advised that following Orange City Councillors approval of the Development Application for The Orchard on February 5, Housing Plus is working with council engineers to progress the site requirements for the construction certificate and to finalise a date for breaking ground.
