Anna Demasi said they had about "4-5000 people" at the event which was more than they had expected.
"It went amazing. We needed more food vendors. We didn't anticipate it would be so overwhelming."
Ms Demasi said they had 12 vendors on Friday but would be adding another five or six for the next event which will be on Good Friday, April 19.
She said that event would also start earlier than Friday's event, opening at 4pm with a 9pm finish.
Ms Demasi said the Easter bunny was expected to make a visit to that event.
It is planned the markets will be run regularly, on the third Friday of each month.
