A 19-YEAR-old man will face court next month for resisting police after officers broke up a fight outside The Lord Anson on Saturday night.
Central West Police District Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said police were called at about 1am and broke up a number of people fighting.
Chief Insp Atkins said officers directed them to move one, but the young man refused to move on and was arrested.
We're investigating an assault that occurred inside at about the same time.
He then resisted police and was charged to appear in Orange Local Court in April.
"We're investigating an assault that occurred inside at about the same time," he said.
The Central Western Daily understands the venue closed at about 1am, but Chief Insp Atkins said police did not shut it down.
The Lord Anson co-owner Hugh Mawter declined to comment.
